Maya continues to delve into her past lives after death, and strives to complete the tentative journey required to reunite with her loved ones in heaven. She must relive and explore her former incarnations as the scandalous and misunderstood Lucrezia Borgia in Renaissance Italy; a young stowaway on the doomed Spanish Armada fleet; and the rebellious Irish Robin Hood, Count Redmond O'Hanlon. Her companions prove truer while her enemies grow stronger as her bygone adventures spin forth. This time she must experience the trials of loyalty and endure the hardships that only supreme devotion brings.

I received Book 1 of this Infinite Series as a free book, and actually held onto it for quite a while before it finally caught my eye in my kindle library this past week! I quickly became involved in the intriguing story line. By the time I had completed the first book, I realized I was not at all ready to say good-bye to this series. Luckily, books 2 & 3 were already available, and even better - a book 4 is said to be in the works, too (I hope this is still true)! I quickly purchased the other two available books (thus far, only 1 - 3 are for sale). I loved each individual journey; traveling alongside the main character as her soul evolved often presented stressful & challenging situations, each with their own individual trials & tribulations. However, as her soul continued to learn & develop in each life, it became more evident that positive progression was beginning to show amongst the characters. Realizing people were repeatedly appearing in multiple story lines, as different characters within each of the different groups of souls, was truly a delight - I loved when the author threw that into the plot! The charts following each life help with organizing the multiple lives, as well as to better enable specific patterns to emerge (including some less obvious ones I may have missed otherwise). Planning to start the third book tomorrow...great series, I definitely give the first two books in the series each a positive recommendation!Product details

Infinite Devotion The Infinite Series Book 2 (Audible Audio Edition) L E Waters Jessica Peterson Rock Castle Publishing Books Reviews
The 1st book I gave 5 stars to. I read many books in between that and this one. Now there are just too many characters for me to remember who did what and who was who in the past lives. Even though the book has diagrams (which that alone tells you there is too much to remember) I still have problems because diagrams only tells you the names throughout all of the lives but not the relationships. If this review is confusing then don't try this book.
This is a great story. I've read all three of the books published already and will read the next when it comes out. The writing isn't the best I've ever read, but it's pretty good. I have a few criticisms, however, The books are not well edited or proofread. There are jarring errors in tense at times (often in the same sentence), and quite a few grammatical errors which grate on me. There are also a few flow errors, where something we are told earlier in the book is contradicted later, or there is a "surprise" revelation that has already been mentioned. I suspect this is the result of self-publishing, as it is very difficult to edit or proof one's own work, and the author may not have used professional services. On the whole, though, these are minor complaints (although I keep itching for a red pen while I'm reading), and the story makes up for them.
I enjoyed this book so much. The 1st book started a bit silly imo, however once you get to (it doesn't take long, promise) reliving her lives her many lives with her and the related characters, you'll be quickly caught up in this novel! Good, clean writing & editing. No filth to read, which is something I personally do not like to read about. That was a plus for me as that's uncommon these days. Each life flows into the next life for all the many characters... it is not JUST about one lady although only one lady, of course, in all of her many personas mind you, is the main character. The personas, the varying eras.. all the vast differences in each are so exciting to live out. Yet even in such vastness, the plot flows like a beatuous baby butterfly flies from one amazing flower to the next equally amazing flower. I, THIS butterfly, want lots more! I'm aching for the next book. Just get through the silliness of those first pages, a couple little chapters, and you won't regret it!!!
Would be 5 stars if the beginning wasn't so silly.
NOTE When I referenced above as the book beginning in a "silly" manner, I'm referring to Book 1. Book 2 goes right on into the awesomely awesomeness of the many lives.
Have a great trip; you're going to visit many wonderful places and cultures!
I really LOVED Infinite Sacrifice that I surprisingly got with a voucher. I loved that one and thought the concepts were imaginative and original. I fell in love with the characters and as soon as I finished my 99 cent book I bought the next 2 of the series. This is the 2nd one and I was anxious to see how the characters incarnated and why. Starting this series of life recollections with a famous person - Lucrezia Borgia - was a bold move and you found yourself empathizing with this character you heard so much bad information about. Then going to the Spanish Armada with yet another famous individual and again a Northern European - starting to get a little predictable and that chapter seemed to take forever. Next life - 7th - is a good one as I had never heard of William O'Hanlon. Finding he was famous I see the author is pretty adventurous to make all lives have a famous person in it. I brings up the age old question of why do tales of reincarnation have to have someone famous? Few were famous so why do we assume we or someone we love was? Not sure but it is still a captivating book - just wish it were a little more diverse.
This is the second book in a series of 4; that I wish I'd known before purchasing. The first book was free through book bub; and it was excellent; so I moved on and purchased the second... I wish that I could return it and get my money back. About 1/4 the way through I realized that we were going to re-live most of history in past lives until we get to (hopefully) the conclusion in book 4. I don't have the patience for that since the stories are repetitive and the main characters are fairly difficult to relate to.
